A Spy and His SEAL Read online

Page 10

“If you would have asked me when I met you if I wanted to be a spy I would have told you that you were nuts. But I love my job too.” I brushed my hand across his face.

Liam didn't smile because he and I both knew that left us back to where we were at, how can a SEAL and a spy work. We would probably never see each other. It was just by chance that we were working on the same target this time.

It probably would never happen again, especially now that both the Navy and the CIA knew we were in a relationship. If we could call it that.

I sighed in frustration. I knew the first time I kissed Liam when I saw him a few weeks ago that I shouldn't but I couldn't find it in my heart or head to care. My heart was already all in again, but my head was trying to figure out where to go from here.

Liam unbuckled my seat belt and pulled me across the car placing me in his lap. He put both hands on my cheeks, “babe, it's you and me against the world right?”

That's what we always said to each other in high school when we got picked on. “Right,” I smiled because it reminded me of all the good times we had together.

“Then we'll figure it out, we always do.” Liam brushed my cheek with his thumb. “I gave you up once because both of us were stupid, I'm never giving you up again, do you hear me?”

I sighed because that was really what I needed to hear since I was doubting myself again. I leaned my forehead against his but it wasn't enough so I pushed my mouth against his in a heated kiss. We groped each other as the kiss got more and more intense.

I snapped Liam's pants opened and pulled out his length. The velvety skin in my hand felt so good. I wanted to lean over and suck the precum off his dick but there was no room. So I slid my cock out of its confines. I ran my hand over the top of Liam's cock and gathered all the precum into my hand. I wrapped my hand around both of our cocks and started tugging and pulling.

“God that feels so good Danny,” Liam said as he started to punch up into my hand.

I rocked up against him giving both of us more friction. Liam let out cute little moans and groans as we both started pulsing in my hand. I couldn't take my mouth off of him and he plundered every corner. Every time we kissed it got better and better and I knew that it always would.

I finally ripped my mouth away from his when we both needed air, “so close I said up against his lips. I could feel the tingling in my spine and all my nerves were on end. I was twisted in a knot the harder and faster I stroked.

Liam licked and sucked my nipples as I brought us to the highest of highs. I closed my eyes and left my head fall backward and Liam's kisses made their way up my neck.

“So beautiful,” he whispered against my 5 o'clock shadow. “So fucking beautiful. Come for me, baby.”

And that did it. My orgasm tore through me, I screamed Liam's name. I felt Liam exploded over my hands, not even a minute later. My hand was shaking from how good the orgasm was. We ground against each other until the spasms died down. I looked down and saw his spunk all over my hands and his chest. I wiped a finger through it and sucked it greedily into my mouth. I moaned at the taste and then leaned down and kissed Liam.

He tasted himself as soon as I pushed my tongue through his lips. We passed his spunk back and forth until it was all gone and we had to come up for more air.

“We should get back to work,” I said against his mouth.

He rolled his hips pushing his half-hard cock into me. I could feel it growing again. “But we are having so much fun. What's a few minutes going to hurt.”

“Come on babe, let’s go get this guy so we can start the rest of our lives together.”

  Liam smiled, “okay.”

I sat back in the passenger seat with a smile on my face. No we didn't know everything and we didn't know how it was going to work, but we would figure it out together and that was the main thing.

I pulled up the app on my phone that was following the tracker. The car seemed to have been stopped there for at least 10 minutes. “Let's go,” I said to Liam.

According to the GPS we were near the road or driveway that the car was parked on. Liam found a place to pull off. Instead of just leaving the car on the side of the road he navigated it into some trees so it would be hard to see from the road.

Liam popped the trunk and handed me a duffle bag. “Put these on,” he said without looking at me. I knew he wasn't blowing me off but the cold look in his eye still bothered me. Was he going to shoot and kill this fucker or was he going to knock his ass out and get him to Guantanamo?

I realized that I didn't really care as long as I didn't have to keep following his stupid ass around the world.

Hopefully, in all this we could figure out who was leaking intel to him as well, but maybe not. After all, they fooled both the CIA and the Navy for over 2 years.

I silently stripped off my clothes and slipped into the camo. Probably something we should have done back at the hotel but in the middle of a city we would have stuck out in the camo. Liam handed me the face paint. I smudged some on my face as best as I could since we didn't have a mirror.

I put my vest back on over my camo and then grabbed semi-automatic that Liam had in the trunk. I filled the pockets of my vest up with extra rounds for both the semi and my SIG. I wrapped a thigh holster around my leg and placed my SIG in that. Finally, we both put helmets on our heads that were equipped with night vision goggles. We didn't know what we were walking into and we wanted to make sure that we were well prepared.

“You know hand signals right?” Liam asked.

I rolled my eyes, “just because I usually stay away from this part doesn't mean I don't know what I'm doing.”

Liam sighed and let his semi drop to the side. He pulled me to him. “Babe,” kiss, “that's not what I meant.” Another kiss, “I just didn't want to assume.” He kissed me a third time. This time he parted his lips and I pulled his tongue into my mouth. The kiss was slow but sweet. I put everything into the kiss. Everything that I felt towards Liam and I could tell he was giving everything to me as well.

He pulled back from the kiss and dropped our foreheads together, “I love you, babe.”

  “I love you too, Liam.”

We stood there for a few minutes neither one of us wanting to move. Finally, he sighed and pulled away. He pulled his semi into his hands and shut the trunk gently. I saw him stick the keys into a pocket.

“Let's go,” he said with a smile and then pulled his night vision goggles on.

We crept through the woods towards the signal of the car for what seemed like hours. It was cold but the gear took the chill off even though we didn't have jackets on. We finally saw smoke in the distance and the trees started to thin. As we got closer we came upon a house.

The house was older and looked unkempt. The siding was missing in some places and the paint looked weathered. I doubted anyone lived in this house at all if it wasn't for the smoke coming from the fireplace.

Liam motioned for me to follow him. I followed him to a big boulder. “We'll watch from here,” he whispered.

We were too far away from the house to hear anything, but hopefully, that meant we were too far away to get caught by anyone.

We both lifted our night vision goggles. While it was still pitch black the lights in the house were on and they wouldn't help us see anymore.

  Chapter 16

  Liam

D anny looked fucking sexy and I couldn't do a damn thing about it. We had been carrying around Rebecca's camos for him in case we needed them since the 2 of them were about the same size. Out of all the stuff he had in his house he didn't have any of those. I guess as a spy camo would stand out where he was concerned.

He glanced at me, “what?” he whispered.

  “You look sexy as fuck.”

“And you don't?” he asked with a smirk. God my pants were tight. I shook my head, adjusted myself, and turned back to the problem at hand. I grabbed my binoculars from my pocket and looked around.

  The 2 story hous
e looked old and probably didn't have an alarm system. I could see 2 people in one room from the shadows inside the windows and a third in another room. “Fuck,” I whispered more to myself than anything.

  “What?” Danny responded.

I turned to him. “I see 3 people but I can't tell if there is more since I don't have any heat sensor tech on me. I can only go by my line of sight.”

“So we wait and see what they do.” He held out his hand. “Let me see.” I handed my binoculars over to Danny.

For almost 2 hours we sat and watched taking turns. We would watch for 20 minutes and then switch out. I was sitting on the ground taking a sip of water. Danny had maybe been watching for 5 minutes when he suddenly ducked down.

“Fuck,” he said but I didn't have to know why because I heard the door slam shut a minute later. I quietly got into a crouching position so my head wasn't over the rock. I grabbed my K-Bar out of my boot. With Danny at my back, we waited.

“What was the current count?” I whispered.

“For sure 10, possibly more,” he whispered back.

We heard crunching headed our way and stayed deathly quiet, hopefully, the guy wouldn't come past the rock and we could go back to observing. I held my breath ready to attack at a moment’s notice. I felt Danny's back tense but he didn't move. The footsteps were getting closer so I adjusted my grip on my knife but otherwise didn't move.

I finally released my breath as I heard the footsteps move away. But neither Danny nor I moved. I knew what we were both waiting for.

The footsteps seemed to move around like the owner was pacing. I heard the front door slam again and then, Russian? They were speaking Russian.

I turned and looked at Danny at the same time he looked at me. What the fuck, he mouthed.

I shrugged, I knew that we hadn't actually seen Eclipse in the car, but we were 100% certain it was him who rented the damn thing. Both voices had a Russian accent. I wondered if Danny understood Russian as the spies do in the movies. I chuckled to myself at that. And shook my head.

I held my breath again as I heard the footsteps and voices getting closer and closer.

I saw a boot in my line of sight and made my move before the guy could react. I just had to hope that Danny was right behind me.

I looked up and saw both men. They were huge and definitely Russian. I waited for them to get past me. I stood quietly ready for them to turn around and attack but it seemed like they were too busy talking to notice.

I nodded to Danny, but he apparently knew what I was thinking because he was next to me and lifting his own K-bar to ready the attack. With my free hand, I counted down to 1.

Danny reached around the guy's neck and slit his throat, then stepped up to catch him while I slipped my knife to do the same thing, but instead stopped short and covered the guys mouth with my other hand.

I pressed my blade into his neck, “you want to die slowly or quickly,” I whispered to him since he knew he was going to die either way. Of course, he didn't say anything. “Walk,” I said. I pushed him into the trees and then slammed him up against one so I could see the house if I wanted but the people inside couldn't see us. I pushed my chest to his back to use my weight against him.

“How many people are in there?” I asked and uncovered the guy’s mouth.

He didn't respond he was just silent. I pulled him away from the tree and slammed him back against it. “How many?”

He still didn't respond except for a small smile. Ugh, this guy wasn't going to talk and the longer we waited the more likely his friends would come looking. So I hit him over the head with the hilt of my knife, knocking him out. I caught his weight and brought him to the ground.

Danny showed up with zip ties and duct tape. I zipped his hands and feet together, while Danny slapped duct tape over his mouth and tossed a rope over one of the heavy branches. We tied the rope to his zip-tied hands and hoisted him up until he is in a standing position but wouldn't be able to do much if he woke up.

“So are we going together or splitting up?” Danny asked.

“Together, I'll go first you cover my back. They'll get more warning that way but it's safer.”

Danny went to move, but I grabbed his wrist and spun him against the tree hard and followed him there. I smashed my mouth against his before he could say or do anything. For just a minute it was just the 2 of us again.

I leaned my forehead against his when I released his lips. “Don't do anything stupid, babe,” I said and caressed his cheek.

Danny grabbed my wrist and held my gaze, “you better not either, frogman.”

I smiled against his lips, “I promise,” I said hoping like hell I wouldn't break that promise. But I already knew I would do anything to save him.

I pulled away from him and we crouch walked with our semi-automatics drawn back to the rock. I peeked over the rock to see if anyone was coming.

We silently made our way to the house without incident. He was between the door and the window and I was on the opposite. I pulled from my pocket a flash grenade and showed it to Danny, he nodded and turned his head. He peaked in the window and held up 3 fingers before turning back to me.

I could hear voices but they were all in Russian so I couldn't make it out. I pulled the pin from the grenade and slowly opened the screen door. Thankfully it didn't make any noise. Danny took the screen door while he continued to watch our surroundings. I reached the door handle and slowly turned it.

From there everything went to hell. I threw the flash grenade in the door and pulled it shut again. Danny and I counted to 10 and then I threw the door opened. I immediately hit the first person with 2 bullets to the chest. I could feel Danny follow me into the room. I spun quickly and hit the second person with another double-tap.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the third person go down and someone came rushing down the stairs. Before I could turn to shoot he was falling over the stairs. That was 6 at least 4 more to go. I quickly opened what was probably a closet door, it was empty.

I quickly made my way to what was probably the kitchen. The kitchen was in fact empty. I pulled open all the cupboards to be sure and checked the backdoor. The door was locked.

Danny and I slowly cleared the rest of the house. There was no one upstairs and so we made our way to the basement. I grabbed another flash grenade and counted to 3 before opening the door and tossing it in. We waited for it to go off and made our way into the room.

A shot went off that had me throwing myself behind a dresser of some sort. I saw Danny dive the other. “You Americans are so stupid,” someone yelled with a Russian accent. “You really think we would let you get a jump on us twice?”

An exchange of bullets ensued, I heard one of them curse so I could only assume he got hit. “What's the Russian's doing with an ISIS terrorist?”

They didn't respond and I didn't expect them too. I glanced to my left when I saw movement. Yes! Just my luck, I could see the guy’s reflection off of an old mirror against the far wall. I silently crept over so I could get in position.

“You really think the US government is going to let the Russians get away with trying to kill Navy SEALs on US soil?” Danny asked as he continued to make shots when he could.

“It's like talking to a brick wall, Danny,” I called.

I leaned out and shot the guy in the back and no I didn't feel any remorse whatsoever. I waited for a second to see if the other guy would lean over his friend, but he didn't.

“2 against 1 now,” I yelled. “Surrender and we won't kill you.”

“Ha, I heard that before,” the Russian yelled.

  “Where are your friends?”

  “Gone,” he said.

I heard Danny fire a couple more shots, “clear!” Danny yelled.

I let out the proverbial breath I was holding and walked over to the Russian's bodies. I kicked their guns away and felt for a pulse. The fuckers were dead so I turned to Danny who was coming up behind me.

  “You okay?
 he asked.

“Yeah, you?” I responded looking him over for any wounds.

  “Yeah.”

  “2 of them got away.”

“Fuck, they must have gone out the window upstairs or something,” I responded.

“No look,” Danny said pulling a curtain back.

Behind the curtain was a tunnel with what looked like fresh footprints.

“Let's go,” I said as I pulled down my night vision goggles.

  Chapter 17

  Danny

L iam and I basically ran down the darkened tunnel. It only took us about 2 minutes to run the half of mile that ended in a ladder leading up. Liam climbed to the top first and then signaled me. I had my gun ready to fire to cover him when he opened the trap door.

After counting to 3 he threw it opened. There were no bullets all I saw was trees above. Liam climbed out and I waited for his signal. After a minute he called clear so I climbed out behind him.

“This way,” Liam said quietly pointing out the footprints in the dirt. Without our night vision goggles, we wouldn't have been able to see the tracks.

This time we didn't run but we followed the tracks as quickly as we could without compromising ourselves any more than we were. The other guys had about 20 minute’s head start on us. We probably made up some time from running the entire tunnel.

Liam held up the stop signal, “you hear that?” he whispered.

  “Yeah, a car.”

  “Fuck!”

We started running towards the sound of the car when we heard arguing and then a gunshot. It was close. We cleared the bushes as the car started to take off.

Both of us started firing at the car. The car swerved momentarily but then straightened out and continued until it was out of range. I quickly ran over to the 2 bodies on the ground.

I kicked the gun away from the big Russian looking dude and then checked his pulse he was dead. The other guy was moaning. Liam and I both reached him at the same time.

  “Call 911 Danny.”
